MEF Part of Chicago Bears’ “Inspire Change” Game

Midtown & Metro Students and Families Take Part in Day to Highlight Bears’ Commitment to Social Justice

An MEF family braving the cold and watching the Bears get a “W” during yesterday’s “Inspire Change” game against the NY Giants.

The Chicago Bears and their Bears Care charity graciously invited many of our Midtown & Metro families to this past Sunday’s game against the New York Giants as part of the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative. Midtown Educational Foundation was selected to attend because of the positive change we inspire in our local community through our 4th-12th grade after-school and summer programs. The Bears, longtime supporters of MEF, provided approximately 50 tickets for our families to attend the game.

Inspire Change showcases how NFL players, clubs, and the league are joining together to ensure that access to opportunity is a reality for all and to create progress in police-community relations, criminal justice reform, and education and economic advancement.

This is the second time in the past 30 days that our families have been invited as guests to a Bears game by Bears Care. For many of these families, this is their first-ever Chicago Bears game as well as their first professional sporting event. MEF is truly grateful to the Chicago Bears and Bears Care for their continuing support and generosity to our families and our organization.
