Announcing Raffle for the Kids Prizes

The Midtown Educational Foundation’s annual Summer Rooftop Soiree is fast approaching and with the help of MEF’s Auxiliary Board, raffle donations are pouring in. From tickets to the Joffrey Ballet to a $150 Lettuce Entertain You gift card, success is an understatement. So far, MEF has received over 50 donations, including two $75 Uber gift certificates, a $150 gift card to Seasons 52, $200 to the men’s outfitting service Trunk Club, and a tasting menu for two at Piccolo Sogno Due.
Donations were solicited from board members’ contacts, locations they frequent in their neighborhoods, and some eager and tenacious members even made cold calls. Eason Hahm was one such board member who felt comfortable making these calls, including one to Casper Mattresses, a new start-up out of New York City who donated a brand new mattress complete with a sleep kit containing a lavender eye pillow, tea, and sleep balm.
Raffle prizes will be organized into packages similar to last year’s such as Chicago Staycations, the Ultimate Sports Package, Extreme Makeover, and Fun for Foodies.
In addition to the dynamic prize packages, everyone will be eager to hear who wins the $5,000 Grand Prize!
Tickets are on sale now on the Soiree & Raffle event page and at the May 28 Soiree. Anyone can buy tickets in advance to win the $5,000 Grand Prize, but only guests at the event will be able to buy tickets to enter to win the prize packages.
