Midtown Parents
Enriching the lives of parents and supporting their role as primary educators.
“W-U-W” (While you Wait Meetings)
Meetings that are held while you wait for your son to end his session. These meetings are formal because the topics are sequential, and carry over from week to week. They are held in Midtown’s first floor living room, every program day.
Monthly Program Parent Meetings
In these meetings, we discuss topics of general interest to the parents and that are relevant to the age range of their students.
Father and Son Nights
In these “get-togethers”, fathers and sons have lots of fun watching and discussing a selected movie with pizza and pop.
Private Orientation Meetings
Periodically, parents, sons and other family members meet with the program manager to deal with family issues, personal problems or couple issues.
Annual Parent Conference
Each spring, parents of Midtown and Metro are encouraged to attend this informational and engaging conference centered around the role of the Parent. In addition to mini sessions on various parenting topics, the day includes a main speaker who specializes in Parent Education.
