INDIVIDUAL mentoring
The HEP Program keeps the fun alive for rising 6th-8th grade students by providing engaging experiences in the classroom and on the sports field. Students will participate in hands-on classes in the subjects of Robotics, Broadcast Journalism, Real World Math, and Character Development. Students will also stay fit and active outside by being part of a team and playing 5 different sports (floor hockey, soccer, flag football, basketball, and volleyball). There will also be field trips every Wednesday to explore the city and its culture.
Individual mentoring is a core component of Midtown’s programs year round. Students are paired with a Young Adult summer advisor. Advisors will meet with students one-on-one throughout the week, in-person, and will check-in with parents/guardians on a weekly basis to report progress and monitor personal growth.
COST: $375 This covers all instruction, field trips, and a complete program supply kit. Income based scholarships and discounts are available. No student will be turned away due to financial limitations.
