Don’t take our word for it. HERE ARE SOME COMMENTS FROM SOME RECENT METRO SUMMER STAFF…
There was so much support for me as a person, not only in my professional life here at Metro, but also in my personal life.
Absolutely, I would return to work for Metro in the future! Everyone, from the students to the faculty, was compassionate and supportive. Whenever I had a question, the Metro staff were ready to help. In addition, the students were respectful and motivated. They were so excited and fun to teach!
I felt strongly supported in my role, from brainstorming ideas about what the elective class would look like, getting the supplies I needed, all staff meetings, One-On-One meetings with my supervisor.
I found this job very fulfilling and I would love to come back some day and maybe teach again, or volunteer and mentor students. Metro is very good at what they do and I truly believe that many students’ lives can be positively impacted with the program. This is the type of organization that I want to work for.
