With different activities and events, the Parenting Program serves in helping you to understand and cope with the difficult developmental changes that all children pass through. Tips to help improve your family life are typically geared so that you realize that you, not only as a parent, but as an individual, should become a better and happier person.

Let me list some of the important activities that Midtown has for you:
Monthly Program Parent Meetings: In these meetings we discuss a topic of general interest to the parents, of the students in that particular program, in accordance to student’s average age.

“W-U-W” (While you Wait Meetings): Meetings that are held while you wait for your son to end his session. These meetings are formal because the topics are sequential, and carry over from week to week. They are held in Midtown’s first floor living room, every program day.

Father and Son Nights: In these “get-togethers”, fathers and sons have lots of fun watching and discussing a selected movie with pizza and pop.

Private Orientation Meetings: Periodically, parents, sons and other family members meet with the program manager, Arturo Baranda, to deal with family issues, personal problems or couple issues.

As you can see, there are many activities within the Parenting Program, where you will find the ideas, advise, or information you were looking for to improve yourself as a father, mother, or to make your family life happier and worthy to be lived.
We hope you to join us, and if you have any question about what Midtown has for you, call me at 773-292-2660, ext. 239 or send me an emailThis e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
