Program Details:

The One-on-One program is for 4th, 5th and 6th grade girls with average (B-C) range grades, who are academically motivated, but are looking for the supplemental structure and support that will help them achieve.

College and professional women volunteers serve as role models and mentors for the girls.  They provide the additional academic support the students need and help them to set goals to improve in school and to grow in the virtues they are learning in the character education classes

In addition to the one-on-one tutoring, the girls take part in character education classes that cover virtues such as honesty, respect, responsibility, and perseverance.  Fine arts classes in art, drama, and dance serve to provide an opportunity for enrichment and to work together and develop friendships with other girls their age.

School Year Schedule

Program includes Character Education, one-on-one tutoring, and individual mentoring with the same person each week. Choose Monday or Wednesday: 5:15-8:00 PM
Session: September 20 - May 4.
