Coaches and players from the Chicago Bears and Chicago Fire "fired" up the boys at Midtown with upbeat, motivational talks and skills demonstrations.

Nearly 200 supporters participated in the Midtown Meander, a 5K race and family walk on a beautiful sunshine day in July along Chicago's lakefront.  

Our 15th annual golf outing in June, hosted by Bears' special teams coordinator Dave Toub, attracted another sell-out crowd.  Michael Evers, Jr., whose father also attended Midtown, announced during after-dinner remarks that he had been accepted at Cornell University and planned to become a doctor.  He received a standing ovation!

Sherry Barrat, President - Personal Financial Services at Northern Trust, was honored at the 11th annual luncheon benefiting the Metro Achievement Center for girls in May.
